1. Private Reference Service
North Salt Lake Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections related to North Salt Lake, Davis County, and Utah. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with an agency, court, library, or custodian.
2. Lawful Use Rules
Use the service only for lawful personal, family, property, historical, or civic research. You may not use it or a linked result to:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm someone
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft, fraud, or another unlawful act
- Make an FCRA-regulated decision, including credit, employment, housing, or insurance decisions
- Scrape, republish, or copy the pages at scale
- Interfere with service operation or security
3. FCRA Status
This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Nothing here or in a linked tool is a consumer report. Information may not be used to assess eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose regulated by the FCRA.
4. Outside Links
County portals, Utah agencies, courts, libraries, archives, and sponsored search providers have separate terms, pricing, availability, and privacy practices. North Salt Lake Residents Directory is not responsible for their content or conduct.
5. No Warranty
The service is supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty promises accuracy, completeness, freshness, availability, or a correct result from a linked portal. Public records and historical indexes can change or contain errors.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of this service or an external resource, including a decision based on a record found through it.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
8. Copyright
Original writing, design, logo, and layout belong to the operators and are protected by copyright. Brief attributed quotations and ordinary links are welcome. Full-page republication or systematic copying is not permitted.
9. Changes
New terms may be posted here. Continued use after a revision means that the revised terms are accepted.
10. Access Restrictions
Access may be blocked or limited for a user who violates these terms, abuses the service, or threatens its operation. This can happen without advance notice.
11. Utah Law
Utah law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Utah’s Government Records Access and Management Act, Utah Code Title 63G, Chapter 2, governs requests to Utah custodians; it does not require an agency to create a new record or resident list.
12. Severability
If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
13. Questions
